 150th Anniversary Service and Meal“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Heb. 13:8).
Though much has changed over the past 150 years, the same Lord has been doing His work of forgiving and granting life eternal through His Word and Sacrament at Immanuel. We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us in our special service to cap off the celebration of our 150th year on Sunday, October 2, 2022. The Divine Service will take place at 3pm with Rev. Dr. Allan Buss, President of the Northern Illinois District of the LCMS, preaching. In addition, other pastors in the circuit will be in attendance. We will have special music selections led by our organist, Nicholas Hansen. The service will be followed by a wonderful catered meal. Please RSVP by September 25. It promises to be a special day as we not only reflect upon the past but also see the ways that our Lord is present and active today and into the future.
