Click "Play" to listen to Pastor Rosebrock's Sermon on Luke 5:1-11, delivered on Feb. 10, 2019.

The disciples were out fishing all night and caught nothing. But then the Lord entered the boat and began to teach. When he told them to let out their nets again, it hardly seemed like a good fishing strategy. But it is a different matter when the Lord is speaking; their nets were breaking because there were so many fish! The Lord is teaching the disciples then and now the abundance of who He is for us and through us. His Word is preeminent in all things. So also the results of our lives of service today are in His hands. As is always the case, His abundance is more than our human expectations. Even through the long fishless nights, we know that He will always deliver on His promises.

Jesus said to Simon,
“Do not be afraid;
from now on you will be catching men.”

Luke 5:10.
