 Nicholas Hansen will be offering a free organ recital at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lindenwood, Illinois in commemoration of 150 years of ministry and new organ. Nicholas is a 2020 graduate of Rochelle High School. He will be a junior this Fall at Concordia University Chicago majoring in parish music. He is a highly gifted and hard-working musician specializing in pipe organ performance who travels each weekend to play for the services of his home congregation of Immanuel. At the recital he will be playing Bach’s “Little” Fugue in G minor, “Trumpet Tune,” excerpts from “Mendelssohn Sonata 6,” among others. In addition, the Hansen Family Barbershop Quartet will be singing. This special event promises to be a wonderful display of God’s gift of music!
