  Get your running or walking shoes ready for Immanuel’s inaugural Cornfield Crossroads 5K. Come join Immanuel Lutheran Church for a picturesque run by the corn fields to support Rochelle Rescue Mission. We are a small church family in Lindenwood, Il and have been serving our community since 1872. We are having an unofficially timed 5k Run/Walk with proceeds going to the Rochelle Rescue Mission. The Rochelle Rescue Mission is a Christian organization that supports homeless people/families with temporary residence for up to 30 days – their goal is to mentor as many people as possible and help them get back on their feet. So, let’s use our feet to support the Rochelle Rescue Mission. There will be a pre-race warm up/stretching session lead by Connie Teaberry, former Olympian and NIU Director and Head Coach of Track and Field and Cross Country. Coach Teaberry has had an accomplished career including competing in the 1996 Summer Olympics and leading NIU to several championships. Entry fee is $20. (Please bring your receipt with you to the run/walk) Runners and Walkers will receive a T-Shirt while supplies last. The run is on a flat course in and around Lindenwood. We hope to see you there!
